He published \"Du Conseil d'État considérée comme Conseil et comme juridiction sous notre Monarchie constitutionnelle\" in 1818, and here he expands upon it from a technical perspective (see, in particular, the annotated commentary on the 1806 decree establishing the Council's rules of procedure), but before the series of reforms that in 1830 led him to produce a new edition in the form of a treatise, the 5th edition of 1840.
