Date :
    between 1742 and 1750
in-12, mottled brown calf, spine with raised bands and decoration, title page in burgundy morocco, red edge, roll on the edges, (false indication of t. III on the first vol.), very fine copy, 8 f.-406 - 156 p.
A collection of two texts found together in this edition, likely suggesting they were printed simultaneously, and which, in a counterfeit manner, reproduce two of the most vehement Gallican attacks: one dating from the 1682 regalia affair, the other, in the 18th century, reaffirming the principles of Gallicanism. Dupin (ref. 2607) specifies that the 1729 edition was halted by order of the Court and only appeared in 1750 [...] without change. Uncommon.
