This collection comprises two doctoral lecture notes. The first focuses on contractual liability (its scope, conditions, grounds for exemption, effects, and conventions), while the second examines an institution which, the author emphasizes, lacks legal standing but exists only in practice. He reflects on how the legislature has addressed the concept of family patrimony, a cornerstone of civil law. For the author, this provides an opportunity to denounce infringements upon the legitimate family (such as the validity of gifts to concubines). In this respect, the text echoes, in both spirit and substance, a previous lecture from 1941. A rare collection.
