He is the author of a famous treatise, the first volume of which appeared under the title *Introduction to Political Economy* in 1939, and the second edition constituted the preliminary volume of a much larger work comprising 12 volumes. Although contemporaneous with this second edition, the text differs significantly from the textbook in that, on the one hand, it dwells less on certain issues and, on the other hand, it prioritizes general reflections.
