    This study of Cicero's works from a legal perspective, which clarifies some of their more obscure passages, was very successful, as evidenced by the reprint published by Scientia Verlag in Aalen in 1969, now out of print. The book is organized by treatise, with each passage containing private law explained, making it particularly useful.
