    folio, mottled blond calf, spine with raised bands and gilt decoration, red edge, title and volume labels in tan morocco, fillet framing the covers, initials and vignettes, 4 manuscript leaves bound with the printed volume, old Ex-Libris, (covers scuffed, some foxing and spotting), 23 leaves-520 pages + alphabetical index-452 pages + alphabetical index.
    This majestic collection is one of the few devoted to the Parliament of Provence. The first edition, a kind of "journal of hearings," was revised in the 18th century to be organized by subject. It is particularly noteworthy for the significant space it gives to the general system of justice and judges. The work as a whole is precise and instructive. It should be noted that pages 130 to 135 of the first part, which were clearly missing, have been reproduced in manuscript on fine vellum paper with exceptional clarity, integrating perfectly into the volume. This collection is quite rare.
