    One of the most famous treatises on Roman law from the beginning of the century, first published in 1888 and reprinted until the 1930s. It examines the history of Roman law, the law of obligations, and the status of procedure. We have the latest edition, which is also quite complete with the supplement published in 1935, and which is rare (it appears to be missing from Cujas's collection).
