    A seminal work on the law applicable to physicians (organization of the profession, regulations governing the sale of medications, medical liability, etc.) in its uncommon second edition. It includes essential sections on the 1933 and 1935 laws restricting access to medicine for foreigners, including naturalized citizens, and is thus one of the best examples of the xenophobic legislation of the late Third Republic (see, in particular, on this point, the anti-Semitic law of Vichy in *Le genre humain*, Seuil, 1996). It enjoyed the same success at the time as Savatier's treatise in the 1950s.
