An edict of 1581 attempted to establish such a registration system, but it was revoked in 1588. The same fate befell an edict of 1673, revoked as early as April 1674. Consequently, it was the edict of June 1771 that established the first registration system, notably by creating the office of mortgage registrar, which received objections from creditors and managed the discharge of mortgages. The commentary presented here is one of the few, along with Grenier's, to have been devoted to this edict.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Mémoire du Droit","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51962465288539,"sku":"7162","price":91.47,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":false}],"url":"https:\/\/www.memoiredudroit.fr\/en\/products\/7162-dumont-nouvelles-observations-sur-l-1","provider":"La Mémoire du Droit","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
