It is valuable for several curiosities: the prohibition against conspiring to have a pope elected; the principle that a heretic is, by definition, ineligible; that it is not possible to elect a pope while his predecessor is still in office; that a pope cannot name his successor, and so on. But beyond this, it meticulously describes all the rules followed by the conclave for the election.
