    A collection of legal opinions focused on criminal law. Note the use of the phrase "it is better to acquit a guilty person than to condemn an ​​innocent one" on page 382. Numerous opinions address usury, dueling, the legitimate use of weapons, and there is a substantial chapter on the use of poisons, sodomy, the theater, the Inquisition and inquisitors, women, and civil procedure. Rare and important given the work's scope. We have identified three different editions: the first published in 1714 in Lucae, and two others published in 1741, one in Lucae (2 folio volumes), the other in Venice (1 volume).
