BQV 191. C133 for the second edition of 1662). Canisius is one of the most important Belgian canonists of the 16th century. His works were constantly reprinted in the 17th century, and this volume collects all of his treatises on this subject. Of particular note is the extensive section devoted to the legal status of usury (pp. 625-694), as well as the fundamental “tractatus de differentiis iuris canonici et civilis” in which the author lists 54 differences between Roman civil law and canon law. Schulte describes the author as “a casuist without ponderousness, a curialist of the highest quality.”\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Mémoire du Droit","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51962461782363,"sku":"6625","price":106.71,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":false}],"url":"https:\/\/www.memoiredudroit.fr\/en\/products\/6625-canisius-de-jure-canonico-1","provider":"La Mémoire du Droit","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
