Treatise devoted to the powers of the Vicar of Rome, who administers the diocese of Rome and, in reality, has the same powers for this diocese as bishops do in others. (See André and Condis, Dictionnaire de droit canonique, Vol. III, p. 688). Suffice it to say, the subject itself is not particularly captivating. On the other hand, the work is in fine condition; the vellum is directly stamped with a gilt title label without the addition of leather, and features numerous engraved tailpieces and initial letters.
