Let us instead discuss the bibliography of this collection. Troplong presented himself, like Duvergier, as the continuator of the treatise that Toullier left unfinished at his death (it should be noted that Duvergier has a stronger claim to this than Troplong, since it was Toullier himself who had asked him to undertake it!). Furthermore, Troplong began his work in a haphazard manner. He published simultaneously the volumes devoted to sales, as a direct continuation of T., but also those devoted to prescription, and therefore concerning the final articles of the Code. He then continued with privileges and mortgages, followed by leases and exchanges, and finally, in order, with the remaining titles. It should be noted that while the first volumes... Published in 1833, the new editions present themselves as \"entirely in conformity with the previous ones.\" This first series was completed in 1856 with the volume on \"the commentary of the law of March 23, 1855.\" T. then undertook, in a second series, to resume work on the legal code section that had been covered by Toullier. He thus produced the four volumes of \"Marriage Contracts\" (1851) and the four of \"Donations and Wills\" (1855), but died in turn, before having, by any means, completed his work. This is a rare, complete French edition, preserved here in good condition.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Mémoire du Droit","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51964338897243,"sku":"54611","price":1200.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0941\/0163\/5419\/files\/54611-1_02d6f9d4-e08e-4c73-beb0-de0cf095872e.jpg?v=1769440705","url":"https:\/\/www.memoiredudroit.fr\/en\/products\/54611-troplong-le-droit-civil-explique","provider":"La Mémoire du Droit","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
