Legrain" winner of the 2nd prize of the 3rd year of the Roman law competition organized in 1866 by the Faculty of Law of Douai, speckled edges, (edges and boards slightly rubbed, foxing in the interior), good condition, 408 p.
    French Roman law scholars have not produced a definitive work on this part of Roman law (see Girard's bibliography), and the value of this text lies in its comprehensive use of ancient and Germanic authors from Cujas to Savigny. A fine copy.
