    Second and final edition of this text, originally published under the title "The Historical Exposition of Roman Civil Procedure" (1938), for which Accarias summarizes its scope as follows: "While the Treatise on Actions does not contain many original and truly new insights, it at least sets forth in an orderly and admirably lucid manner all that we know most definitively on this important subject. Mr. Bonjeau may not have advanced the science, he has discovered little, but he has faithfully recorded the principal established results and the most probable conjectures." Rare.
