Protean, innovative in many respects (in its reinterpretation of 19th-century theories), derivative in others, intelligent yet reductive. The present work, published during the war, provides a striking illustration: it is clearly inspired by the \"Landmark Cases of Civil Law\" published a few years earlier by Capitant, but offers a personal reinterpretation and structure that, without excessive self-promotion, can be said to be significantly better than that of Capitant's earlier editions. It is a nuanced, sometimes simplified, reading of case law, especially in civil matters (commercial law is more briefly outlined). The analysis of the Rucheton decision of the Court of Cassation on cohabitation provides an excellent example: the author draws not only on civil law theory but also on administrative law, and in just a few pages provides a general theory of the subject far superior to that of the textbooks and treatises of the time. A rare work indeed.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Mémoire du Droit","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51963808547163,"sku":"49716","price":140.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0941\/0163\/5419\/files\/49716-1.jpg?v=1766946614","url":"https:\/\/www.memoiredudroit.fr\/en\/products\/49716-bonnecase-precis-de-jurisprudence-civile","provider":"La Mémoire du Droit","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
