    This work is one of the very first commentaries on the provisions of the Civil Code relating to inheritance and enjoyed great public success, with the first edition dating back to Year XIII (1805). We present here the very rare 6th and final edition, significantly revised by M. Belost-Jolimont. (Dupin no. 1416 and Dramard no. 1387 for earlier editions).
