    “The folio edition compiled by Richer, a lawyer at the Parliament, is much more extensive. It contains rulings up to the beginning of 1736. Augeard is very often considered one of the greatest and most reliable legal scholars. He belongs to the movement of comparative law in France, which was fashionable in the 18th century.
