    folio, full brown calfskin, gilt titles and volumes on burgundy paper, spine with 6 raised bands decorated with lace, gilt fleurons and framing fillets, double gilt fillet on the edges, red edges, tailpieces, headbands and initials, double column printing, (slight scratches on the covers, damaged headcaps, split joint, edges and corners slightly rubbed, some scuffs and losses on the tail edge, rare foxing) interior very fresh, 980 p.
    “The folio edition compiled by Richer, a lawyer at the Parliament, is much more extensive. It contains rulings up to the beginning of 1736. This collection is the result of lectures given at the home of Abbé Bignon. It was prepared and examined with great care.” (Dupin, ref. 1331). Augeard is very often considered one of the greatest and most reliable legal scholars. He belongs to the movement of comparative law in France, which was fashionable in the 18th century. This is the latest and best edition.
