However, the work with which he acquired the renown he still enjoys today is undoubtedly his treatise on commercial and exchange law. This work places him among the founders of commercial law, alongside Stracca, De Luca, Ansaldo, and Casaregis. It is the most interesting treatise on commercial law, and more specifically on financial and exchange legislation, of its time, presented in the form of Questions\/Glosses.
