    44.5 x 37 cm [sheet of 65.5 x 50], Four-color lithograph on heavy vellum, signed lower right, beautiful colors and lovely finish, paper slightly creased.
    A caricaturist, genre painter, and professor of fine arts, Hoffmann lived from 1883 to 1960. He produced about ten drawings on the theme of justice. This caricature depicts one of the most scandalous scenes in court: a defendant undressing before the astonished and bewildered eyes of the judges and her lawyer.
