In particular, one should note the lengthy discussion on the concept of the retroactivity of the law. This edition also contains the Constitutional Charter of 1814, and the texts of the laws on the Abrogation of Old Laws, Adoption, Divorce, Illegitimate Children, the Abolition of Divorce, Absent Military Personnel, and the Notary Profession.
