    The first supplement (1879-1890) is included. This is a rare biographical and bibliographical directory of the members of the Court of Cassation since 1879. For each entry, there is an indication of their service record as well as a complete list of works written by the magistrate. This work follows a directory of the same nature published in 1879, covering the period from 1791 to the date of publication, which was subsequently supplemented by two additional volumes, one for the period 1879-1890 and the other for the period 1890-1905. This is why the present volume is designated "third supplement," even though it is actually considerably larger than the previous two.
