    Grimaudet was an important 16th-century lawyer who regularly contributed to debates surrounding currency and taxation. He frequently wrote significant treatises on the law of tithes, usury, the right of redemption, and the grounds for excusing fraud. These works were compiled in 1623 into a single volume. This is the most complete edition on the law of usury. Dupin, ref. 1438.
