They inform us, first of all, about the state of the law in the 19th century in a number of areas (e.g., property law, since justices of the peace had jurisdiction over the majority of possessory actions). They were also the first to examine the practical applications of the principle of separation of powers in disputes devoid of political affiliation, where legal questions were therefore very clear (public domain law, the system of administrative policing, etc.). Finally, they also paint a picture of everyday legal practice in the 19th century, which is often absent from general treatises. This work is particularly interesting because it updates Carré's work, published in 1832, with new institutions.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Mémoire du Droit","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":51962618773851,"sku":"12838","price":80.0,"currency_code":"EUR","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0941\/0163\/5419\/files\/12838-1_5656efc9-be0f-4881-8a04-3e95829ccc0a.jpg?v=1766916365","url":"https:\/\/www.memoiredudroit.fr\/en\/products\/12838-foucher-commentaire-des-lois-des-1","provider":"La Mémoire du Droit","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
